Account Deletion

Request deletion of your Group Photo account and data

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Group Photo users can request deletion of their account and associated app data at any time. This page is provided for Google Play users and anyone who needs account deletion information outside the Android app.

Fastest option: delete your account in the app

Open Group Photo, sign in, tap Account, then tap Delete account. This deletes your Group Photo account and signs you out.

If you cannot access the app

You can request deletion by emailing the support contact listed on the Group Photo Google Play listing. Use the subject line Group Photo account deletion request and include the email address used for your Group Photo account.

For your protection, we may ask you to confirm control of the account email before completing a deletion request.

Data deleted

Data that may be retained temporarily

Photos and generated images

Group Photo stores uploaded background photos, subject photos, and generated final images in AWS S3 to provide the photo-creation service. When an account deletion request is processed, associated stored photo files are deleted where they can be matched to the account. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or logs until routine retention periods expire.

Subscriptions and purchases

Deleting your Group Photo account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play subscriptions on your device or in your Google account.

Timing

In-app account deletion begins immediately. Email requests are reviewed and processed as soon as reasonably possible after account ownership is confirmed.
